Can I place my ad without an account?

Placing your advertisement on Boatag is quick & easy. Our visitors can post ads without an account, without registration. But a Membership Account is a great convenience for people who post multiple ads.

As a Dealer/Broker how do I add my Listings?

Please REGISTER as a Dealer. After your account is created simply click on the "Buy Dealer Page" or Special Offer plan From your account administration area. Update Profile link and fill in the appropriate fields. With your "Dealer Page" you can add your Logo, Website, Unlimited Listings, Pictures, Youtube Videos, Featured Listings, Bulk Uploads. Import multiple ads by uploading a single file, and more.. Once complete your logo and weblink will appear on all of your ads.

What is the Dealer Page ?

The Dealer Page Paid feature to allow for an account a special page where user details and all user listings are shown, and allows replacing the header image with user's own logo.

How do I modify my ad?

After you have logged in click the (Update your ad) link then click edit.

How do I upload a photo?

1. Click the "Browse" button on the Picture Upload page. This opens a dialog box headed 'Choose File'. Within this box, locate your boat's photo.
2. Click once on the photo file to highlight it, and then click the "Open" button. The dialog box will disappear and the file name will appear in the "Upload Your Photo" field. (Double clicking the file is another way to do this.)
3. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page to upload your photo.

What is "Featured Ads"?

Featured Ads - Paid feature for listings that show in a special section on the first page.

What is "Highlighted Ads" ?

Highlighted Ads - Paid feature for listings that show in a different color to be more visible than the other listings.

What is Video Classifieds ?

Video Classifieds- Paid feature to allow a Youtube video shown in the ad image gallery.

What is Prioritized Listings ?

Prioritized Listings - Paid feature to place a listing on top, before all other listings. We have Gold ( $5.00) and Silver ($2.00) available priority plans.

I live in France. Can I post my ad in other language ?

Our site is Multilingual , which means that it can run in more than one language at a time. Our visitors can switch languages from site frontend, and can post an ad in Their Language. We speak the following languages:
